These are the top five things to do in Washington in August.

Fun for the whole family, the Renaissance Fair features medieval knights, court jesters, jousting, and artisans at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire at Kelley Farm in Bonney Lake.

Beer and Blues Festival - August 8
Stop by the Beer and Blues Festival to enjoy craft brews, local food trucks, and music at Brew Five Three on Broadway in Tacoma.

Auburn Festival - August 14 – 16
Celebrate Auburn Days with a 5K on Friday, street parade on Saturday, and car show on Sunday. Stroll down Auburn Way & Main St. all weekend for live music, art, and food.

Sausage & Cider festival - August 22
A ticket to Sausage and Cider Fest will send your taste buds into overdrive! Enjoy sausage-made eats, northwest hard ciders, and live music at Covington Community Park.

Free National Park Day – August 25
Entry is free at Mount Rainier and Olympic National Parks on August 25. Be sure to plan ahead as parking in the surrounding area may be busier than normal.
